About The Artist

  I’m Sandy Boone—artist, business owner, and lifelong creative—working from my home just outside rural Danville, Ohio. I’m a proud graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and spent five years commuting to a high-energy marketing agency, where I designed and illustrated for major corporations by day and dreamed of doing my own thing by night. 

    In 2003, with a daughter on the way and a lot of paintbrushes within reach, I took the leap into self-employment, freelancing and painting murals. In 2025, I added a new chapter by launching a line of greeting cards inspired by the beautiful chaos of family life. My designs come straight from real adventures—and occasional mishaps—of raising three daughters, horses, and a collection of quirky animals on our farm.

    When I’m not painting or designing at the computer, you’ll likely find me with my husband and our three daughters, horseback riding, water-skiing, or roaming the country in our lovingly remodeled 1990s RV. Life is busy, messy, and full of stories—and that’s exactly where my art begins.
